iNet-Portable Publisher's Description: iNet-Portable is a real time network tool used to analyze packets that are crossing an Ethernet network. It performs data collection on a LAN segment and analyzes it in real time. The workstation/client, which is running an iNet-Portable application, can monitor all the traffic flow within the network without disturbing the network at all. It provides tools for technical analysis and performance tuning of the network. iNet-Portable can presents the network bandwidth utilization in the form of graph. This feature provides a more user friendly interface to analyze and understand the situation of the network. The graph enables the user to determine the users of the LAN and who causes heavy traffic. Some outstanding features of iNet-Portable : · Network analyzer: View captured traffic packet-by-packet, filter, decode packets. · Network trace: Observe conversations among devices and stations. It shows up to 24 devices or stations having conversations with it per session. · Network address book: Keep and supervise all nodes on the network. Useful information is kept and detected silently for further use and analysis. · Visualization engine: Gets network data from the packet capturing agents and displayed as various, time-sensitive statistics in the form of charts and tables · Reporting toolkit (RT): Generates reports based on the user’s requirements. RT is basically a compilation of various inspections (e.g. network utilization, network workload and etc).
